They are a little rough when brand new, as canvas should be. I found if you take the straps and soak them in water for a few hours, then take them out of the water, dab them dry with a towel, put them on the watch, then wear the watch until the straps dry, it gives the straps a "broken in" feel and makes them a lot more comfortable to wear. I love mine!

The electric blue zap of color to awaken any wardrobe. My second Cincy, the DD is lean and unobtrusive and wears comfortably all day long. The blue orange combo has grown on me the more I wear it. I wish it had a strong lume like the P-40.

Wonderful watch! I put it on a Nomad Blue Nubuck strap with Orange stitching.
The dial is even more impressive in person, a joy to look at.
Had an initial issue caused by shipping which was resolved painlessly by Rick and Jordan. What is running great and very accurately, true to it's timing sheet. While some have commented on the strap, it's grown on me in part because it's encouraged me to wear it on the daily-ish basis. Would buy another watch from them in the future (that burgundy GMT looks nice).
